JESUS LOVES ME, HOW DO I KNOW?

,

We hear it all the time: “Jesus loves you.”

We might have seen it on posters, T-shirts, or heard it in songs at church or Sunday school.

But have you ever wondered- how do I really know that Jesus loves me?

Let’s talk about how we can be so sure that Jesus loves us.

1. The Bible Tells Me So

The most direct answer is this: the Bible clearly says Jesus loves you.

In John 15:13, Jesus says,

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

Jesus didn’t just say it- He proved it. He died on the cross for YOU. Not because you’re perfect, but because you’re loved. He took our sins- everything we’ve ever done wrong and paid the price so we could be close to God again.

That’s not just love. That’s amazing love.

2. You Were Created on Purpose

Have you ever looked up at the stars and thought, “Wow, this world is HUGE- do I really matter?” The answer is yes. God created the whole universe, but He also made you- on purpose.

In Psalm 139:13-14, David says,

“You created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb… I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”

Jesus knows everything about you- your laugh, your fears, your talents, your struggles- and He loves you exactly as you are. You don’t have to earn His love. It’s already yours.

3. He Never Leaves You

Maybe you’ve had a bad day. Or felt like no one understood what you were going through. Jesus sees that too. He’s not a distant God. He’s with you in your highs and lows, even when you don’t feel it.

In Romans 8:38-39, the Bible says:

“Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Not your mistakes. Not your doubts. Not even your worst day. His love stays strong.

4. He Keeps Showing Up

Think about the little things in your life: a good friend, a kind word when you needed it, strength to get through a tough moment, or a song that gave you peace when you were upset. These aren’t just coincidences- they’re signs of God’s love in action.

Jesus speaks in different ways, but His message is always the same:
“I see you. I care. I love you.”

So how do you know Jesus loves you?
Because He made you.
Because He died for you.
Because He’s with you.
And because His Word says so- God never lies.

Even when life feels uncertain or confusing, you can be 100% sure of this one thing:
Jesus loves you. Always has. Always will.

Ask God to show His love for you today and I’m sure He will.
