Is it my name?
Is it my parents, as in I am ABC’s son or daughter?
Is it my place of birth – I am a native of..
My country or citizenship – I am American/Indian/Chinese etc.
My education – I am studying in XX class, College, etcc
My aimed for or attained career – I would like to be a ….. or I am a doctor/engineer
Success or its progress: I have successfully finished my….
Body image, Marital status, self worth, value, Gender, IQ level or status in society?

What can it be influenced by : Identity is a multifaceted concept that refers to the qualities, beliefs, personality traits, appearance, and expressions that define who a person or group is. It encompasses both internal self-understanding and external recognition by others. Here’s a breakdown of how different disciplines and thinkers interpret identity:

Social: The roles, affiliations, and group memberships (e.g., gender, ethnicity, nationality, religion) that shape how one is perceived and how one behaves Identity Formation begins in Childhood, evolves through adolescence (in some cases solidifies) and evolves through adulthood.
Philosophical: The essence of being who or what one is; a sense of continuity and sameness over time.
Psychological: A person’s self-concept, including traits, values, beliefs, and emotional patterns that make them unique.
Begins in childhood: Through family, culture, and early experiences.
